POULSBO– 2 individuals found dead in a 30-foot travel trailer at Rhododendron Mobile Park Sept. 15 were saving cash to purchase a residence in the local and had lived there for less than six months, the site manager said Sept. 16.
“They were favored folks and didn’t have any problems here,” stated the supervisor, who spoke on the condition that his name not be made use of. “It’s just stunning.”
The couple was found about 2:30 pm– according to the mobile park manager, by a relative. He said the couple has family in the local. He said they were the only homeowners of the travel trailer.
Sheriff’s representative Scott Wilson said the couple were hubby and other halfcouple, ages 30 and 28, respectively. They had been dead for less than 24 hours, Wilson stated.
“There were gunshot injuries to them, Wilson stated. “We’re not in a position to head out and state were looking for anything. It’ll depend on the coroner to identify whether its homicide/suicide or homicide/homicide.”
He added, We are not pursuing a person of interest in this … Its believed to have actually been an internal domestic situation.
The bodies were at the Kitsap County Coroner’s Workplace Sept. 16 for autopsy.
Sheriffs deputies were initially to arriveget to the scene, then detectives. We reacted to the staging location but we didn’t enter,” said Jody Matson, spokeswoman for Poulsbo Fire Department. By that time, “it [was] a cops examination.”
