| HOME Rehab Funds Awarded
to Los Vecinos de las Misiones: In its three year
history, Los Vecinos de las Misiones Community
Development Corporation has endeavored to improve the
quality of in the southern area around the historic
missiones. This summer the Corporation was awarded the
administration of a grant of $250,000 through the City of
San Antonio for home improvement and rehab. A committee
is being formed to develop a plan to make the best use of
these specifically allocated funds. If you are interested

Improvements on Espada Road: Due to a grant for Mission Trails Transportation Enhancement and the collaboration of the City of San Antonio, a half mile section of Espada road due west of the Mission will be renovated to provide appropriate drainage and sewer service. The San Antonio Water Systems is currently planning appropriate sewer connections for the entire Espada road area. Construction begins in May of this year. |
