Directions to
St. Mary of the Mount Church

If You are visiting Pittsburgh, we invite you to visit our church on Mt. Washington. We're easy to find, and the view from the city observation decks across the street from us is worth the trip.

From the North:

Follow I-279 to I-579 (Cross the "Veterans Bridge") to the Liberty Bridge. Stay in the right hand lane and turn right before the tunnel entrance onto McArdle Roadway. At the light at the top of the Hill turn left onto Grandview Avenue. St Mary of the Mount Church is one block ahead, on the right.

From the East:

Follow I-376 to the Boulevard of the Allies exit. Take the Blvd of the Allies to the Liberty Bridge ( stay in left lane, watch out for the really, really sharp curve). On the Liberty Bridge,stay in the right hand lane and turn right before the tunnel entrance onto McArdle Roadway. At the light at the top of the Hill turn left onto Grandview Avenue. St Mary of the Mount Church is one block ahead, on the right.

From the South or West:

This is multiple choice depending on which road you're on.

1. If you're on Rt. 51south of Pittsburgh, take Rt. 51n and follow it to the third traffic light after the Liberty Tunnels (you'll go through a small underpass). Turn Right onto Woodruff Street. Take the first left onto Merrimac Street. Turn right onto Grandview avenue at the second traffic light. St. Mary of the Mount Church is one block ahead, on the right.
   
2. If you're on Rt. 19s, Follow it to the intersection with Rt.51 and turn left at the entrance to the tunnel. Follow Rt. 51n to the third traffic light after the Liberty Tunnels (you'll go through a small underpass). Turn Right onto Woodruff Street. Take the first left onto Merrimac Street. Turn right onto Grandview avenue at the second traffic light. Mary of the Mount Church is one block ahead, on the right.
   
3. If you're (at the airport or Rt. 79s), get onto I-279n. Take the Rt. 51s exit. Get into the left lane quickly, and turn left at the first Traffic light (Woodruff Street, just before the underpass). Take the first left onto Merrimac Street. Turn right onto Grandview avenue at the second traffic light. Mary of the Mount Church is one block ahead, on the right.
