RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM

Our Religious Education Program, under the direction of Mrs. Lorraine Schintzius, provides catechetical instruction for public school students in grades 1 through 8, as well as the LIFE TEEN program for high schoolers in grades 9 and 10. Religious Education classes are held on Saturday mornings for public school children of grades 1 through 6. Grades 7 and 8 meet for class on Wednesday evenings. LIFE TEEN members of grades 9 and 10 meet on Sunday evenings. The telephone number for our Religious Education Office is 694-0421.

Children in grade two prepare for the holy Sacrament of Reconciliation, which we celebrate for them early in Lent each year.

Children in grade three receive First Holy Communion in May each year.

Our Confirmation program forms each year for candidates who are in grades 11 and/or 12, as well as for adults who wish to receive Confirmation. Mrs. Pat Chip leads the Confirmation program.

Our Adult Enrichment Committee provides Saturday morning and Wednesday evening programs, including invited speakers, for adults who wish to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of our Catholic faith and its heritage and mission, A discussion group meets also on Monday evenings during the school season.
