THE ROSARY SHRINE OF SAINT JUDE

Christ taught that where two or three are gathered together in His name there He was also present (Mt 18.20). As Catholics, we believe that this bond between baptized believers cannot be broken by death. Those who now already see God can still join with us in prayer. Because of this truth, the parish honors St Jude with a special shrine inside the church. He was an apostle and a near-relative of the Lord (Lk 6.16), who is held by Catholics to be a special patron of those in hopeless situations. For many, asking St Jude to join with them in prayer to God has been a tremendous source of comfort, joy, and blessing.
