PARISH HISTORY

St Ann's Church, Ebarb community, began in the early 1930's.

It began as a mission of St Joseph, Zwolle, having a rich history of Spanish and Indian heritage. Ebarb community has "reservation status".

The Choctaw-Apache Tribal Council makes "for sure" that the old traditions are not lost by celebrating Pow-Wow Gatherings with traditional foods, arts and crafts.

St Catherine Mission Church, Noble, during the formation of Toledo Bend Lake was relocated to Noble, from its early location at Round Lakes.

"Los Ormigas" cemetery transferred occasioned renewed awarkening in our rich Indian heritage so visible in our people. Dating early 1800's, many ancestors are buried in this Cemetery. History is all around us.

We celebrate the "Lord's Fiesta!" with a warm Southern hospitality!
