The Holy Father has designated this second year of the three-year preparation for Millennium as "The Year of the Holy Spirit." We here at Immaculate Conception Parish are planning a number of events that will help open us to the deeper infilling of The Spirit in our lives, and both equip us and empower us for the work of proclaiming the essential message of the Gospel, namely that Jesus Christ is Lord and longs to save us in His great mercy and love.
We hope that you, wherever you may be, will experience the deeper anointing of the Holy Spirit this year - in your home, your parish or church, your family, and, most of all, in your own heart. He wants to fill you with His wonderful gifts, both for your own spiritual growth, and that you may bring His salvation, His mercy, His healing, and His peace to others. It is through you that He will bring to fulfillment His mission to "renew the face of the earth."
