Parish Organizations
| Music Department: The Music Department provides appropriate music for the various special celebrations in the Church, such as First Communion, Confirmation, and Christmas and Easter Celebrations as well as Saturday and Sunday Masses. Our Director of Music, John Hutchinson, is consulted for weddings to determine the appropriate music. A Wedding Music Showcase is held (4) times a year. The bride and groom attend the showcase closest to their wedding date, to select their wedding music. The Director of Music also supervises the Children's Choir who sing regularly at the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays and the Adult Choir who sing at the 1100 a.m. Mass on Sunday. For funerals, please call the rectory for special music selections, and our staff will work hard to accommodate your request.
Attar Servers: The altar servers are the young people who assist the Priest at Mass on Saturdays and Sundays, weddings and holy days. This group is made up of boys and girls from the 4th through the 10th grade. Training is provided by Deacon Carmine Angeloni to acquaint them with the procedures of serving Mass.
St. Therese Carnival Committee and: Once a year, usually in June, the Parish conducts a Carnival with rides, games and food. This perhaps is the largest undertaking involving the whole parish and it requires many volunteers. Each is asked to work at least one night or up to all four (4) nights in game booths, food booths, or parking cars Throughout the year a permanent group of 3-5 persons plan and organize the upcoming Carnival, help select the raffle prizes and determine the types of entertainment. Proceeds form the Carnival are used for Church repairs and capital improvements. Raffle Committee: The raffle committee is a permanent group of 2-3 people who select prizes and gather a committee to help sell tickets at area churches and grocery stores, advertise in local papers and volunteer at the carnival to sell additional tickets.
